Duggar family expecting 18th baby

Nothing says Happy Mother's Day than finding out you're pregnant. With baby number 18.

Michelle Duggar is pregnant with her 18th child. According to this AP story, she's been pregnant for 11 years of her life. Her oldest child is 18 and the youngest, 9 months old.

I'm a mom. I know how exciting it is to be pregnant. And obviously I wish her a healthy pregnancy.

But wow. I had two kids. Giving birth 18 times. Ouch is an understatement (even with an epidural).

Can you imagine being pregnant and giving birth 18 times?

I've seen them on TV and they seem to be a happy, healthy, stable, growing family, BUT enough is enough!

Of course I wish her a healthy pregnancy, but I agree with ccm199... enough is enough !! What a burden this mother places on her older children by continuing to give birth at this breakneck pace. Its unfair for these parents to take away their older children's childhood simply because they will not stop procreating ! Oh, and last time I checked the calender it was 2008. Wake up people !!

They take such great care of their children and seem genuinely happy. I envy the closeness they seem to enjoy. I have only one child. My son is 38 years old with two children of his own. How I wish I could go back in time, and give him at least one sibling. To the Duggars, I wish you health and happiness forever.

I think they need to stop having so many children, but its their life and wish them all the best. I mean if they can afford to have all those kids. I hope her husband never loses his job. They seem to be a happy healthy family though and so that's good.
