The other day I was over at TwitterMoms.com, where I asked the mom blogger group to offer up their favorite blogs, so I could share them with you. Who knew there were so many diverse mom blogs, from the funny to the factual, the informational to the introspective? Some aren't even in English. Here are a few you might like to bookmark for later when nobody's talking to you while you surf. Like, say, at midnight.

Mam Contempor nea(http://www.mamacontemporanea.com) I admit that I took only two semesters of Spanish in college, so much of what I know about the language is pretty much from watching soccer on Telemundo. So, I'll take this Mam blogger's word for it that her site is a Spanish-language blog for trendy Latina moms in the U.S and around the world. There are photos of stylishly dressed women, some of them pregnant and looking better than I do even when I really, really try. There are product reviews, such as one for Kajeet, "el primer servicio de telefon a cellular" for ni os ages 8 to 14. There's also a public service announcement about the Swine Flu (Gripe Porcina), and a plug for yesterday's National Mom's Nite Out. While I don't understand all the words, I recognize that this blog is a great resource for Spanish-speaking moms everywhere. And really, what mom doesn't know what "vomito y diarrea" means?

Ziggy's Blog(http://ziggysblogs.blogspot.com/) Don't let the Barbie pink background fool you: Ziggy's blog is turning into a serious service site about raising teens, courtesy of a single mom of two who's studying to be a special education teacher. While her earlier posts centered on her life, she has since turned her blog into a resource for parents of teens. Last week, she posted an informative blog about teen bullying and what to do about it: "Don't encourage fighting back against a bully, as this could lead to him/her getting hurt or getting in trouble." Last month, she wrote about high school dropouts: "One high school student drops out every nine seconds." Also, about binge drinking: "Nearly 9 percent of boys and 7 percent of girls ages 12 to 17 reported binge drinking in the previous month." For the scoop on serious teen-related issues, drop by Ziggy's blog.

Crunchy Green Mom(http://crunchygreenmom.blogspot.com) I wasn't sure if this was a new dessert or a blog about eco-living. Turns out, it's neither. Lilith Silvermane's blog is an interesting mish-mosh of things that cross her mind, product reviews and photos. It's as though she downloads the sorts of things that amuse, annoy and otherwise affect moms every day. In a recent Open Letter Friday, the working mother of six rants about a thoughtless teen who ignores traffic as she tends to her MP3 player while crossing the road. When she later realizes that she'd done the very same thing while looking at her Blackberry, she admits, "I was that girl." Last Friday, she asked herself a very serious question: "What would you do if you were dying?" She wonders, "Would you finally backpack through Europe or spend the night in a wine villa in Italy?" And would she blog about it? Why, of course.

Happy Mother's Day!

    Hello,

I am a mother of 2 boys Brain 10 and Aidan 2. I invented the Gogowrap for bussy babies and parents on the go. The gogowrap is a baby swaddler that allows baby to be wrapped up and placed into carseat, stroller, carrier while wrapped up. My product is made in the USA, is all eco friendly and makes a wonderful & unique baby shower gift. Please check out my website gogowrap.com.

    Thank you!
