Garage Sales an end of a record season?

With October approaching and September drawing to a close, we would come to the conclusion that Garage Sale season has drawn to a close in atypical times. Unfortunately I do believe that we are in some unprecedented times with further turbulence still ahead.

Thus due to the rocky economic environment a time when most garage sales would be headed for the doors until next spring are seeing a long stint outside and when the colder weather starts to approach you will see these sales start to move inside and consignment stores will see a nice increase in the number of items being delivered for sale this weekend.

Online postings for garage sales at Craigslist are seeing increases of up to 200% and over 200,000 garage sales a month for the months of may through September with no slow down in sight.

So as the weather cools no need to fear about finding that vintage yard sale antique, jewelry, and wool coat for a bargain basement price as the sales will go on just inside this winter!
