I need Advice about my 10 year old daughter

I have a 10 year old daughter that is fixing to turn 11 years old this June. And of course like all parent's know this is the time that all little girl's get to noticing boy's but I need some advice. She said's she has a boyfriend and I figured well this is natural for her age and just grinned and smiled and said ok. But just here tonight at 9 oclock at night he knocked on my door asking for her and I asked him who he was and he said his name and I said oh you are the one that is pose to be my daughter's boyfriend and he said yes mam. I told him she is taking a bath and going to bed. What I need to know is- Is it ok-normal to let this boy come over to see her just as long as they stay in eye view or should I completely stop it right know? I do not want my daughter to think that she has to start going behind my back and keeping things from me, I want to be her cool friend about this new stage she is going through but I want to be the best mother at the same time. So please help me and give me some advice. Maybe some rules to tell her that she has to go by or something like that. I want her to feel like she can come to me about everything and not hind anything from me.

As a mother of a 10 year old boy, I think you should allow her to have her "boyfriend" visit as long as they are at eye distance. I do however think visiting hours should be set. I don't allow any company after 7pm. You should also talk to your daughter about the birds and the bees, this way there won't be any surprises. Hope my comment helps! Good luck!
