Report AbuseAs a mother of a 11 yrs old boy who is Autistic, I can tell you all that all this hollywood stories are grat but for real people like me is a whole lot different (a joke really). Diets for these children often have a very high cost, and for single moms like myself that work 40 or more hours a week in order to make sure I have enough to feed my child is imposible to have "special diets". Autism is not curable it just needs more understanding, because until this day I still encounter ignorant people that not only look at my child like he is a spoil brat but also have the guts to talk about something they don't know anything about. (and yes!! that makes me MAD) Please, if you don't know about the subject the best you can do is stay quiet. That is what I do if I'm not familiar with something. To end my comentary: for the "COMMON" people is almost imposible economicaly to be able to afford some of the "DIETS" these celebrities have their children in.

Report AbuseI understand that there is no cure for autism, yet there are steps you can take to improve quality of life. Having autism results in low levels of a amino acid called glutatione. Icreasing this can be beneficial. Check out www.maxinhealth.com for more information ... this is the most economical way to drastically increase glutathione levels.
