Traveling with a newborn in the car might be stressful, but if he
or she is riding in an infant car seat, they're safe &
contained. Skip ahead a few years to traveling with your
'big' baby in a booster seat with a lap belt. Well, your
little guy or gal might be able to unbuckle the seat belt
mid-travel. And if you have a special needs child, that scenario
becomes much more difficult to remedy.
