Report AbuseKids do better in school and in life (on average) when they have a strong personal connection with school.
Not only that, studies prove that students do better on SATs after studying all types of art, not just music (And although music shows the strongest jump).
The more years studied, the higher the scores. Across the board.
KEEP ART IN SCHOOL! Especially the lower performing schools who need it the most, but are most likely to be subject to cuts.
We can't afford NOT to.

Report AbuseBravo to the teacher! To get the kids so into something...no matter what subject, shows a real connection to the kids, and an ability to translate their own enthusiasm. Kudos!!!
