Let the kids color the house

These color-your-own cardboard houses are one of my favorite birthday gifts ever for young kids. The house is easy to make, durable and large enough for toddlers and kids up 12 years old to play inside. They can use crayons, markers or even paint to decorate it --- inside and out -- and it will take houuuuuuurs to complete it.
It'll be the best $20 you spent on a kid's art project. Find it here.

I got my daughter who is 4 one of those, only it was a lemonade stand. I'm glad it was on sale because she prefers to interact with people (she is an only child). So she didn't even come close to finishing it and it went in the garbage.

I'm going to get this for my niece's 5th birthday. If this doesn't occupy her, nothing will. Th kid's a coloring fanatic.

This is a good idea in theory, but as Phebes said....it will most likely end in the trash lol. I prefer just using leftover boxes from other purchased items. =D

That seems seems like something my girls would enjoy. I have three daughters my oldest is eight years old and they all enjoy coloring. I think the colorable house is something they would play with for months.
