Mom of Tweens: Three More Blogs I Love

Last week, I offered up three mom blogs I love to visit. Here are three more that differ in scope, and yet entertain, inform and amuse me whenever I have a moment (read: I'm procrastinating on my next deadline).

Divine Caroline: http://www.divinecaroline.com/ This neatly designed, easy-to-navigate site isn't just a blog, but a home for blogs, expert articles, comments, tips and ideas about parenting, relationships, travel, health, money and more. The best part is that it's blessedly void of the anonymous flaming you find on other online communities.

The Lean Green Family: http://suddenlyfrugal.blogspot.com/ Formerly "Suddenly Frugal," Leah Ingram's blog follows her quest to save green by going green. I've learned about affordable but effective organic products, saving money while saving the environment and the etiquette of being green. It's a down-to-earth approach to greener living that's never self-righteous and always entertaining.

Weary Parent http://www.wearyparent.com/ Here's a helpful blog for parenting tweens and teens designed to get you through those particularly long days with the kids. This summer, Charlene Polanosky and Christine Young are offering up "Camp Weary Parent" entries, which feature activities that will keep your kids ages 8 and up busy during the dog days of summer. Weary Parent also gives you the serious heads-up on all things tween/teen, such as a new legal herb that's getting kids high and MTV's glorification of smoking.
