Mom of Tweens: Who is your go-to for mom advice?

Thanks to the Internet, there's no shortage of sites to turn to for parenting advice. Here are three of my favorites:

The Go To Mom (http://www.thegotomom.tv/) Kimberley Clayton Blaine's comprehensive web site speaks the truth from the home page: "Where there's a child, there's always a parent with a question." The author of "Mommy Confidence," Kimberley's site is chock full of advice in various forms, from blogs to vlogs to her own talk show on Blog Talk Radio She offers more than 60 videos on all sorts of parenting topics, including "Mommy Confidence," "Spanking and Swatting" and "Stop the Whining" (Hint: Spanking and swatting aren't the solution.) A licensed child therapist, Kimberley offers her professional advice in a series of articles, including "Why Rewards Don't Work" and "How To Avoid the Hyper-Parenting Trap" by guest writers, by Alvin Rosenfeld and Nicole Wise. Though the site skews toward parenting younger kids, you can find plenty here for bringing up tweens.

The Mogul Mom(http://www.themogulmom.com/) Heather Allard's blog provides freecoaching, camaraderie, ideas, information, resources and recommendations for mom entrepreneurs. Here, you'll find tips on how to package your product, the right way to use Squidoo and "3 Life Lessons I Learned From My Parents" Heather reviews products, links to valuable business sites and features Mogul Moms who have succeeded in their entrepreneurial efforts. (Full disclosure: She's going to feature me this weekend. Mogul Moms help each other out.) She also writes the Smotherhood blog, featuring "Tips, Tricks & Tactics to Survive Motherhood Without Getting The Life Sucked Out of You." And what mom couldn't use that?

Mom Advice(http://www.momadvice.com/index.aspx) Amy Clark describes her web site this way: "Well researched and in-depth articles on frugal living, saving money, work at home opportunities, inexpensive recipes, and tips for organizing your life. Find answers, opinions and a community who understands." A home management expert, Amy offers advice for women who are looking for ways to stay organized, stay sane, and stay within their budget. Some of her articles include: Milking the Milk Budget," "Hosting a Successful Garage Sale" and "Spring Cleaning for Today's Mom." She also provides tips for parenting, working and organizing, as well as recipes. There's even a Forum where moms share tips and advice of their own. If you're looking to organize your home and save money, Mom Advice is the place to start.

I don't ask for advise---at all. But my family and my hubby's family usually give it, whether I want it or not.

I used to ask my Mother about her methods of raising children as she raised 6 very different kids. Now my own daughter asks me and I try to help but I ALWAYS tell her to ask other young Moms and her Pediatrician and see what sounds right to HER. Most of the time there are not always easy right or wrong answers and going with your own gut usually works .

I need advice on dealing with young adult children. I need advice on how to change my closed mind on what and how they live their lives. I need advice on alot of things...I feel like I could probably have a nervous breakdown.
