Momma said
there'll be day's like this...... anyone remember that
song? Yeah, I know, I'm dating myself. Momma
said this and Momma said that, but what do I say? I say that
Momma needs to mind her damn business. Momma can put her
twocents in all the time and never admits when she's
wrong. When I was young, Momma's words were
golden, but now that I'm older......Not so much. I
now see how jaded Momma is and how she can be
predjudiced towards certain people. The very same
negative things Momma says or thinks about others are issues
in her own family. Momma's son and daughter in law
are addicted to pain medication and have lost EVERYTHNG as
result of it. Momma's son had an aeortic anuerysm this
past July and he's already back to his old habits.
Drinking, smoking, pill popping, lying, cheating, mooching,
leeching, and BLAMING others for ALL his problems! Momma says
her son needs a helping hand. I say he needs a swift kick in
the pants! Momma says her son in law isn't a Real man,
because he's unemployed due to cut backs at his former
job. He collects unemployment and searches for work daily,
but Momma says that's not good enough. I say we're in
a recession and jobs are few and far between, but what about your
DRUG ADDICT SON, MOMMA? Momma says that it breaks her heart
to see her son and his family suffering so much. I say
they're suffering because, her son is not being a REAL
man! Momma said there'll be days like this, there'll
be days like this my MOMMA said. Sing along if you know the
