Nicole Richie auctions off Harlow's baby gear

Your baby can dress like Harlow Madden...

I'm a big fan of hand-me-downs, an online classified "store" for parents. You can buy, sell or give away used and new baby gear, and you can also donate it to charity. But the site also offers some fun celebrity auctions, with proceeds going to celeb-chosen charities.

This week, Nicole Richie and Benji Madden are auctioning off some adorable baby clothes and gear used by their 14-month-old daughter, Harlow.  The proceeds will all be donated to The Richie-Madden Foundation.

The big-ticket item is an Nicole Richie-autographed Maclaren stroller (bidding is now over US$250 and rising).  My personal favorites are a bright, snazzy rainbow-striped sweater and this Gymboree Red Apple dress. The shoes, sweaters and hoodies are also super cute and right now, the bidding is still very low.

Are you interested in buying used celeb baby clothes?

What they are doing is giving to the needy by selling the clothes for a benefit.
