Octuplet mom Nadya Suleman is closer to landing a reality show -- would you watch it?
editor
This kind of crazy seems
normal in the day of the life of octuplet mom, Nadya Suleman.
Yesterday
she told
Life & Style that she was indeed filming a
reality television show "a TV show is
basically creating documentaries about the lives" of her
children. She named the U.K.-based
Eyeworks as
the production company that would be filming her.
But it's a different story today. And we're not
surprised!
The official word from Eyeworks CEO Reinout Oerlemans is that the
company is still in discussions with Suleman. [
US]
CNN reminds us that Suleman would not be the first parent(s) with a
reality show following the lives of a super-sized
family. We can watch "Jon & Kate Plus
Eight," which follows Jon and Kate Gosselin. Or we can peek
into the lives of the Duggar family in "18 and Counting,"
which will now follow the pregnancy of Anne Duggar (
she's
carrying the first Duggar grandkid).
So why such a fuss over Nadya Suleman? Do we want to see her fail?
Or is because she does crazy things,
such as trying to trademark the word
"octomum"? (Oh yes she did. She filed an
application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on April 10
and the application said she "wants to put the Octomom name on
television programs, clothing and disposable and cloth
diapers." Did she even come up with the word?)
Okay, so let's say she does get a reality show,
documentary, whatever, following her family's life. Would you
watch it? (And be
honest!)

no, no, no...while i will admit i am fascinated by her (i sadly cant stop reading anything that pops up) I refuse to let her personally profit from me. i wish those children all the luck in the world, because with a nutty mom like her, they will need all the help they can get!

Only if I were a vegetable and someone left the TV on that station and my eyes were held open by toothpicks!

It will be hard not to, as I love a good trainwreck... BUT I will hold back. I cannot support this chick AT ALL. I don't condone her disgusting actions. I don't dare watch the Duggars or John and Kate either. I'm against this sort of "family planning"...populating for popularity. Uhg.
Per the picture above it looks like Nadya did away with her weekly nail fill, however I can't help but notice she is wearing a Hollister sweatshirt. Doesn't a t-shirt from that store cost like $30? What does a hoody cost? $80? $100? She better have hit up consignment for that and not be spending all those CA resident's tax dollars on her vanity...
I really just want to roll her up into a ball and punt her past the horizon.

I think I would rather be mauled by a plague-infested gibbon.

Yet one more example of how being irresponsible, careless and maybe even a bit nuts translates into commercial opportunities and undeserved wealth. I am so sick of the 'reality' show overload.
If television networks would really like to present a 'reality' show, why don't they film hardworking people trying to live within a shrinking household budget, or an unemployed person trying to get back on track, or the thousands of other normal folks who live responsible, accountable lives...oh wait...that's not considered commercially exploitable..after all, who is interested in people who are living healthy, productive, proactive lives without drama, trama and excess as their guiding core values?
I won't be watching her, just like I don't watch Paris Hilton, Tori Spelling, Nichole Richie, the Osbournes and all the other dumbed down reality shows - past, present and future!

i noticed, that she like to wear hollister brand. i don't have any problem w/her.....as long that she make her own money to race her kids instead of using welfare money. And and i hope that its enough baby for her.....and also love them equally. god bless her family.
