Parenting

That article is total BS. those children have been deprived of discipline. It is usually prevalent in sngle mom households where the women tries to make up for the abscense of a father and the accompaning guilt by letting their children to control them, and whenever the mother tries to reassert who should be in control, the child has a tantrum. Duuhh.

I believe that all children handle all situations differently and that you must try many different ways to find what works best. So I do use a few of these techniques, like when we are out at the store, I alway tell him what we are doing and how he needs to behave and give him consequnces if he does not. The best thing you can do for your child is to always follow through, no matter what.
