While I agree that noone wants to see a woman "flop" her breast out (as one commenter put it) ...ppl NEED to get over it. Its feeding a baby...its not there to degrade, belittle, sexualize or amuse anyone. What angers me to no end is that we live in a society (america) where its perfectly OK for a teenage girl to wear a shirt so low cut with a push up bra so high that we can see the tops of her nipples and NOONE shows outrage over this...but a woman with a child breastfeeds in public and ppl FLIP OUT! We live in a society where its OK for young girls to degrade themselves sexually (they think this is feminist sexual empowerment) for the pleasures of men by displaying themselves in obviously sexual ways (i.e. see through clothes, too tight clothes, too low shirts, too short shorts/skirts etc) and yet when we do what is perfectly natural for a woman to do, when we act in the womanly way nature intended for us to act, suddenly we are disgusting and offensive...EVEN to other women! WTH has happened with the perception of what it is to be a WOMAN? Are we so obsessed with youth and beauty and all this glamour that hollywood/reality shows/music industry has to offer that we have forgotten what a woman really is?! A woman is not this constant sexual creature...we are MOTHERS, DAUGHTERS, SISTERS we are not just objects...and I feel that everytime someone gets offended a the sight of a breastfeeding woman, its because they are SEXUALIZING her in the worst possible way.....to see sex in the act of feeding an infant, ppl need to reexamine themselves. Reexamine why it is that you think SEX when you see a woman feeding her child.

Anyone who is offended by a mother who is nursing, hear this, I AM OFFENDED that you would feed your baby anything but the best!!!!!! Nature has made our breasts to nourish our babies not for you to stare at!!!!!
