Should we have to pay for abortions?

  to be honest im not a fan of abortions but planned parent hood helps in many other things besides that. They give out free STD testing condoms and birthcontrol and they do free paps which i think is important due to some young girls having no health care they help to keep young men and women safer in there sex practices and i think its good that they are around they offer more then abortions. They also give information on safe sex and other important things i think its good that they are around because even if there was no planned parenthood girls are still going to get abortions its not somthing you can really stop weather its free or not

  I do understand your point, all I want to do is stop funding them with our tax money. They are more important things to spend our money on. Maybe if they lost their government funding, they would stop performing abortions. Do you think it's fair that it costs so much to adopt and that the government won't help with this cost? There are so many people out there who would love to adopt a child, any child, just to be a parent, but the cost involved is the only thing stopping them. But, the government will fund the destruction of these unborn, innocent lives to avoid an inconvience. And they use our money to do so. That's my problem with the organization. Abortion may never be illegal. But I don't think it should be so easy to get one. Or should be free, or cost so little. I think life is precious and it's sad that the price tag on the life of a child is so little.

  I agree, Mandi. My hard earned $$ should NOT be going to the destruction of human lives. PP should get NO gov. funding--I realize they provide other things, such as birth control--But, that is also against some people's beliefs. No one should have to pay for things they fundamentally believe are wrong. Thank you for saying so, even though you will probably be verbally attacked and called "ignorant" by pro-choice people. You are not, rest easy in knowing that you have the truth on your side. All they have are rationalizations.

  I think it's stupid that the government won't help with adoptions but they will easily help kill an unborn child! I mean think about it. It makes no sense! I signed the petition to defund planned parenthood. My feeling on the situation is you play you pay. Too bad they won't just steralize the women and men who don't want children so these poor innocent babies aren't being murdered.

  This is to Mrs. Donnie Wahlberg. Thanks to planned parenthood do you know how many females are using abortions as a form of birth control? They are good for the other things that they do, you're absolutely right but when a majority of their income is from doing abortions that's a problem.
