Summer Survival: Sidewalk chalk labyrinths

When I'm at my wits end and low on ideas to keep my little guys busy, I always find myself scanning Kiddley. The site hasn't been updated in about a year but sweet planet, you can peruse their kid's activity ideas for hours on end.

For the past week my oldest son and I have been trying to out-sneak each other by creating crazy labyrinths with sidewalk chalk. I got the idea from Kiddley, which posted easy-to-follow instructions on how to start your own labyrinth.

We've also been playing another silly game, Fences. Who needs toys when a marker and a notepad can keep your kid occupied for an hour?

If you try a chalk labryinth, blog about it with a photo. And drop a comment below with a link to your post.

Oh, now that sounds like fun! We're off to my parents in Michigan tomorrow and they have a very long, very flat, very black driveway -- perfect for chalking up!

I will definitely try this out!
