The Hip Mommies: A Facebook Group for All Moms

Let's face it, online communities can be far more meaningful to us than simply a vehicle for communication. When I was pregnant with my first child, some of the most helpful advice I received was from other moms who had left parenting tips on mommy sites. What to pack in the hospital bag. What to do about PUPPs. Fears, hopes, dreams and more.

I'm a big fan of Facebook - like most of the universe - and I'd like to use it as a way to connect with other moms. When it comes to baby products, there are waaaaay too many options. From baby gear like car seats and strollers to cute clothes, unique toys and eco-friendly nursery furniture, trying to figure out what is the best option for your family can be a huge task.

It's not easy to get REAL info nowadays because so much advertising is "spun" to look like feedback. I want to know about baby stuff from the people who know it best - OTHER HIP MOMMIES!!! That's why I started a new group on Facebook, The Hip Mommies. All moms are welcome. It is not being used to promote anything special and no advertisers are involved. Just real moms being hip.
