The topic of spanking is a contentious one on our site, true mom confessions . So we couldn't resist polling our users to see where the majority stood. To our surprise (you guessed it, we don't spank), a whopping 69% said a resounding "Yes we do" when asked the question about how discipline goes down in their house. Some say that spanking is only effective when kids are between 2 and 6 years old; others believe that spanking at any age is appropriate and lets kids know who's the boss.
