Rocks in My Dryer (http://rocksinmydryer.typepad.com/shannon/) This 30-something mom of four and "grammar snob" says that if you don't like sappy blogs, then move along. A blogger for Parenting.com and a BlogHer contributing editor, Shannonruns Works for Me Wednesday, a "blog carnival" encouraging readers to post a little tip they've learned on any (G-rated) topic that has made life easier. But she's also got spot-on insights such as "For every 24-hour period a mother plans to be away from her family, she should allow 48 hours to plan for that period." Yeah, and then 48 hours to get everything back to normal afterwards. Amen, Shannon!
Girl's Gone Child(http://www.girlsgonechild.net/) Rebecca Woolf's irreverent blog includes a letter to her skinny jeans: "One day you were on me and the next? Folded up and pushed to the back of my closet like yesterday's news," complete with accompanying muffin top photos. A new (again) mom, Rebecca includes loads of cute photos and videos her four-month-old, Fable, attempting to stay upright. A contributor to Momversation.com Rebecca says that "formula isn't an F word," even though she loved breastfeeding, and she entered an entire blog while typing with one hand and holding her newborn in the other because "fable is skleeping."
