10 Reasons To Flirt With Married Men

Before getting your moral molars all impacted, we'd like to make clear that we're not endorsing having an affair or ruining a perfectly good marriage (or an imperfect one, for that matter).

Whether single or taken, flirting is fun. Getting hitched helps out in the tax and health care departments, but married social life can start to feel like a blur of "dinner at the Newman's" and "girls' nights out." We already know that flirting at the office helps business and is good for substance-free spirit-lifting. Unlike flirting with single blokes, hair flips and deep conversations with married guys aren't automatic green lights for making a move. Here are ten other reasons to flirt with a man in a (wedding) band.

1. Flirting with an unavailable man can make you feel good about yourself without pressure to seal the deal—or face any sort of actual rejection. If he makes an unwanted move, you can always say "You're married! I didn't think this was going anywhere!"

2. In fact, you can try out crazy pick-up lines, silly stories and generally act however you want without worrying that he thinks you're a fool.

3. Batted lashes can make an off-the-market man feel good about himself. (This will only appeal to the altruistic among us.)

4. Sometimes social gatherings are so dull, it's either flirt with this guy or punch out that chick who will not stop talking about her Christian Louboutins.

5. Coy smiles at Mr. Married will make you seem more in-demand to Mr. Single. Translation: get that guy from way over there to come over here.

6. Entrapment. Save his wife the trouble of finding out later in life that he's a scoundrel. (Again, only for altruistic souls.)

7. It might improve your (solo) sex life: Sir Wedlock could be a new addition to your fantasy repertoire.

8. He could have a cool friend who's into forward women unafraid to chat up married guys.

9. Exchanging witty banter allows you to enjoy meeting someone new and feed the brain with interesting conversatioin. (Duh)

10. Drinks don't pay for themselves.

Uh, this article sucks big nasty eggs. There's so much that's inappropriate about this article it makes me nauseated. Just imagine if a woman takes this advice to her workplace.

And please tell us - in what parallel universe do you live that married men always back off after the first "no" and never get sexually aggressive with women who come onto them? This must be the same quantum reality where their wives don't mind their husbands throwing money around to buy single girls drinks either. Yeah, and I'm sure after five daquiris there's NO WAY that impaired judgment wouldn't get the best of either of them, huh?

I don't know what kind of single men you know, but the decent guys I know wouldn't touch a woman who flirts with married men with a ten foot pole. The only kind of single guy that'll attract is someone equally dysfunctional.

Oh no, but we shouldn't grind our molars or misinterpret this article at all. Yep.

So, basically you are telling women it's okay to come on to guys who are in a lifetime relationship with someone else? Did you recently have a lobotomy? If I ever catch anyone flirting with my husband, she'll lose all the pretty hair in her head because I'll personally rip them out one by one. Whoever wrote this needs professional help.

This is the worst advice I have ever read!!!! Why would you encourage people to flirt with married men???? That is only asking for trouble- and if your looking for it, chances are you will find it. When people are in a committed relationship there should be a level of respect and a line that people shouldn't cross. What ever happened to morals and values. This article really pisses me off because to me, flirting with a married man is never acceptable. There are plenty of single men out there you can flirt with. Respect is what it comes down to.

Really? Are you serious? You are actually encouraging women to flirt with married men that are supposed to have a committment their wives and, oh yeah, THEIR CHILDREN! What happened to the idea of honor, respect and a little self esteem? Women who flirt with or engage in relationships with married men are nothing but hoochie home wreckers that should be ashamed of themselves. Go out and find your own man and leave those that are married alone. This is the most pathetic article I have ever read and it sounds as if someone is just trying to justify their own pathetic behavior!!
