5 steps to healing a hurting heart!

5 Steps to Healing a Hurting Heart

1.    Ask God to forgive you of your sins daily.

2.   Write down every person that has ever hurt you in your lifetime (take as much time as you need, it’s o.k. to add to your list as you remember).

3.   Pray and ask God to forgive those persons that have ever hurt you.

4.   Keep those names in your bible and pray for them daily. Pray for them until you genuinely mean it.

5.   Read your bible daily and pray for God to create in you a clean heart.

5 Prescriptions to healing a hurting heart.

1.    Forgiveness- Luke 23:34

2.    Remove Bitterness- Ephesians 4:31-32

3.   Peace- John14:27

4.   Love- 1Corinthians 13:4-7

5.   Strength-Isaiah 40:31

Dealing With the Little Girl Within.

Now that you have the answer to healing a hurting heart, you must allow God to do his part as you actively wait in faith.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence unseen.

That means that even though you do not fill healed, you are trusting God to do it. You will follow the instructions and God will begin to remove the hurt and all the pain. He will erase your memory of it all and you will be able to be set free,

Malachi 4:2

For those who fear my name, The Sun of righteousness will rise with healing on His wings. And you will go free leaping like calves let out to pasture.

Meaning you shall be healed from everything and you will be free to live a peaceful life!

John 15:7

If you live in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done unto you.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come in prayer for my sister in Christ asking that you create in her a new heart. Free of hurt free of pain. Feel her with the love of you for whatever your will it shall be done. Teach her to love herself as you love us. No longer will she accept to live in her past she shall walk living in peace, joy and happiness. Reveal yourself to her so that she will trust you in every area of her life. Teach her to open up to her mate and create a bond in unity that no man, woman, child, person, place or thing will separate. She will spend time with you to hear your voice. Lord we thank you and give you the glory in all things. It is in Jesus name we pray all things,

Amen

This is amazing, and Thank You so much for entering this... these past months have been very hard with me. The man that I've been married to for 1 year this year on July 7th, I feel so disconected from him, and althought we are both Christians I just don't feel like I had my hand in God's hand if that makes sense. I let go of it, and I've been struggling to get a hold of it ever since, just last night I had these words in my head from Ps. 51:10-13 and I'm glad I read this cause this is what I need for myself.

May God continue to watch over you and keep you, Bless you

    Hello Areen,

Thank you for your compliment. I don't judge anyone by their belief, I can only speak of my Heavenl Father (Jesus Christ). He healed me from all of my past hurts and gave me life. I am committed to helping women heal from broken hearts and teach them how to apply the word of God into their everyday living. So as a child of God I must love everyone.

    God Bless you,

    Misty

After years of dealing with people that seriously hurt me, I have actually forgiven them in my heart, not really spoke to GOD about it, but I know that he knows. And I feel that even though you forgive them and honestly mean it, that does not fix the emotional rollercoaster that has been created. You can pretend somedays to be okay and other days really feel like a million dollars. Some women just have the strength to hold their head up high and others only half way. God or no God.

    Hello Browneiz,

You are right but I can only testify to the goodness of God that I have received. God is not a respector of persons all that God requires is that you believe His word. God and only God showed me how to heal and be set free from 30 years of emptiness and pain and if you do the work He will do it for you.

    Blessings,

    Misty

I love this blog! This has really helped me see the light. I'm a very angry person, and I have wanted to change for quite some time now. And I haven't found a way of doing it. Psychatrists and whatnot...I now know that the only way to get over this anger is to forgive those who have wronged me and hurt me. The only way is to the Lord. Thank you for this post. I wish there were more people like you.
