We Gay people need to take a stand and show that we are more
than just w----s and sluts. If we ever want the same rights as the
rest of America , we need to do something.
I am not talking about bashing back. by doing that we are no better
than the people that are doing the gay bashing. We need to show
america that we are diffrent than what they think we are.
I do not know about you guys but I am sick of seeing sterotypes on
TV and movies show us gays as sluts and Queeny gays ( no offence to
those of you who are that way.) It is time that we show America
that we are people too. We love and can (and do ) stay with
the ones we love. We want familys ... that we want everything
that everyone else wants. We want the American dream too. We want a
partner, kids, a house with the white picket fence, a dog ( or what
ever the pet of your chosing is) , We want a chance at the dream
too. I will now get off of my soap box. I tened to get on it and
just keep going. I want to hear what you guy have to say.

Well said! Thank you for this post. I recently saw Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi on Oprah. It was their first interview as a couple and they explained the importance of being able get married. Their love was genuine and beautiful. I'm so glad they did that interview.

Yes the stereotypes will overshadow the reality of your love.
I myself have some friends, Male Gay and in love, Constantly I see
the faithful nessesities of relationship wants through them,
Many Straight relationships can take a peek at respect of another through their eyes.
