Did McCain call his wife a C*#t?

At a town hall forum in Iowa yesterday, a Baptist minister who holds a master's degree in political science, asked Senator John McCain a rather personal question:

"Parrish asked whether McCain called his wife Cindy an expletive related to the female anatomy, as has been alleged in the book The Real McCain, written by Dem strategist Cliff Schecter."

According to Parrish, "A guy who would call his wife a trollop and a c--t just because she had ruffled his hair in front of five guys is not only a jerk, but a dangerous hothead if he ever gets his finger on the button.'

'And since the mainstream media has decided to give McCain a free pass, I decided to stand up and, if they gave me an open mike, ask the question that the press refuses to touched. Our country is in a serious crisis after nearly eight years of Bush, and America appears to be oblivious to the danger this guy (McCain) poses to our country.'"--The Huffington Post

Here's the video of the incident:

Personally I can't stand him. Not just because I am a Democrat (but will vote for whoever seems best for the job) but because he is pro war among other things; he seems like he can be a real b------ when he's ready so I believe he said it. I wouldn't be surprized if the next thing we hear is that he's hit her too. And as for his wife; (not in his defense) but she seems like she can be what he called her!

In case you're wondering, the word dotted out above was b*****d. Equal to the slang word for a child born out of wedlock. Sorry, I didn't think it would be considered offensive or an obsenity.

First, let's start with the fact that story is OLD. This incident happened Thursday evening, May 1st. The man who appears in the video is Marty Pharrish, a BAPTIST MINISTER who LIED and FALSELY signed into the event as a report from the Huffington Post. The man was also a campaign worker for the failed DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE, Joe Biden. This alleged remark supposedly happened on the campaign trail from 1992. Yes, 1992. Erin failed to give her readers all the facts so that truly INTELLIGENT responses could be formed and posted.

Does anyone truly believe that an alleged incident from 1992, supposedly witnessed by reporters and aides alike, would have remained unresolved after all this time? Highly doubtful. Yet this ex-campaigner, Baptist minister who lies his way into a McCain event, is given a few lines of press by someone as far-left as Adrianna Huffington. It's laughable. On the heels of the racist Jeremiah Wright, Obama's longtime friend and confidant and mentor and preacher, the Dem's simply needed a distraction for their campaign. The republican candidate, John McCain, was their target.

Dirty politics by Democrats is all this is.

I really don't see where this piece fits in as part of the "Love & Sex" area of this site. Sure, the word used is a vulgar term for the vagina, but that's a tenuous connection to "Love & Sex" at best. From the responses this has garnered, I think it's obvious that this a political issue and does not belong here. I don't care to read a lot of political rhetoric when I'm looking for information about love and sex.

I agree the question could of been asked better, however I feel the question was valid and should of been answered. We have a right to know if he has a unrational temper. Furthermore his avoidance of the topic all together only makes him look guilty and unable to handle uncomfortable cituations, which less face it as president he would have lots of.

Excuse me ???!!!!??? A Baptist minister asked THAT type of question? It doesn't matter if he is asking a presidential candidate or the janitor. Apparently gentlemanly conduct has been lost on this culture and we need to bring it back.

For those out there who agree such a question should be asked, I dare you to ask your boss that same question next week.

That was a very rude question... Yet technically, he did not answer the question.

The allegation is such crap. Obviously Schecter is a Dem. operative and is trying to sling mud. I do not support any of the candidates. I will be holding my nose when I vote, but this is the all time low for public decorum.
