I have been thinking lately and wondering, does fate really
exist? I have had a lot of set backs and every time this
happens, I am quick to hand it off to fate. I have always
believed that I would end up where I was meant to be, whenever fate
decided I needed to be there. Looking back, how do I know
"turning left", instead should have been a "turning
right"?
I wish I could back track and see what my life would be like,
had I made different decisions. I wonder would I be the same
person? Would I be married with a family or finished with
college? I have achieved a lot of goals that I had set for
myself, but there are still a few things I need to scratch off my
list.
I am happy with the person I am today, but wish I didn't have
to experience every lesson learned, the hard way! So why do
we call it "Fate" when we make our own choices to end up
where we go? It's not like the road was paved for us, we
take chances, make choices, all hoping that we will end up where we
truly want to be, maybe fate is just relaizing you dreams, carving
out a path to get there and turning it into reality.
Dear Fate,
Please show me signs when I am headed into oncoming traffic and
don't forget to set my GPS to reality.
Your biggest fan,
ME!

Report AbuseYES! I believe in fate, my hubby and I were brought together by fate, God, his dad and my sister in heaven and we both truly believe that, but fate doesn't always mean a positive thing. I also believe everything happens for a reason as people come in and out of your life for a reason. You may not know what some of those reasons are until years later, but good or bad you do learn and life is about learning and growing as an individual!

Report AbuseIt's not fate you need to worry about/ HAVE FATITH God has a plan for everyone, you can not focus on the past, the what if's. To move on and stay focus on the furture have FAITH. Like the old saying go's everything happens for a reason. God's reason. Good Luck and God Bless.

Report AbuseI don't believe in fate, but I do beleieve that God has a plan and everything works according to His plan. He gives us free will and He allows us to make choices, some we make are good others are poor. Either way, in the end it will work out the way He desires.
Just think of the good choices as the "direct route" and the bad choices as the the road with all the detours and hazzards. On that road there will be lots of lessons learned and maybe some consequences for your choices. But God is ever present.
Have faith in God, trust in Him and let HIm direct your path. (Trust in lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understanding, in all thine ways acknowledge Him and he will direct your path. Proverbs 3:5-6)
