Does Your Libido Hibernate in Winter?

I walked around my neighborhood on Monday, taking pictures of the snow. Even though I was enjoying all the white-covered everything—and didn't mind being bundled up in ten layers—I did think once or twice, This is cool, but there’s a Santa Ana back home and my sister is wearing a bikini right now. Wonder when it will be spring?

This is the cross street where I live. It's permanently closed off, so you could try sledding down the street if you were late to catch the 2nd Avenue bus.

The snow didn't melt—even on my hat! Awesome.

It’s been said that people are more amorous and flirtatious in spring, maybe because when they walk around, suddenly they can see people’s cleavage, arms, legs, shoulders, and necks. Um…in California, you can see all of that almost year round. Well, what I want to know is, if you live in New York City or somewhere else that’s freezing, are you screwed? I mean, I just turned 30; I need every day to be spring! I don’t want to be covered up half the year.

10 things he's thinking when you're naked.

And if it’s 19 degrees out and everyone is too cold to leave their apartments to attend parties or shindigs where you might meet people…well, it’s sounding like winter basically puts a freeze on love. That's bad news for singles!

Do you want to just curl up inside on your couch, or do you feel you’re in heat when it’s cold out? How do men feel? Is winter the off-season for love?

Mine is a bit stronger in the winter. Nothing better than Saturday and Sunday mornings, in the winter. Have to stay warm somehow. It gets pretty darn cold here in MN.

To be truthful I get hotter in the winter and want sex more. I cannot think of a better activity to keep warm. Though in the summer I get a few more looks because of the less clothing, I still turn heads in the winter. No matter what your wearing sex appeal is an attitude. So project that attitude. Great post!

Winter means more sex. Because its al warm and cozy in your bed with your significant other. And all that body heat is inevitably going to lead to better things...

I love sex, but I love sleep, so sex after sleep is the best, or sleep right after sex, any order will do. Did I mention I need sleep? :)-Rachel
