Dressing up as a woman for me is emotionally rewarding and very
exciting and undeniably has a sexual element to it as the
experience can be highly erotic but this passes and I find I am
comfortable pretending I am a woman. To be honest to be a man
impersonating a woman is truly amazing to experience and I like
being in the role. I am determined to avoid looking like a man when I dress up as a woman, my goal is to look like a woman completely. I'm amazed at the techniques one can employ to achieve a female appearance and I truly enjoy the challenge involved in transforming myself from male to female. Stepping out in a gorgeous dress, with nice breasts, displaying smooth hairless legs and smooth hairless arms and chest with plucked eyebrows wearing full make up, a lovely wig and walking in high heels with painted nails and wearing perfume is just incredible for me as a man to experience. Obviously, not many men want to do this but I have come to accept that I am a man who likes to feel feminine and look the part of a female. I do enjoy being admired by men when I am in the persona of my alter ego, and as opposed to some homosexual tendency I suppose that is merely vanity on my part. I feel good as a woman, I enjoy wearing make up, it boosts my confidence and I like it on my face, I like having shaved legs, chest and arms. I was fairly mature when I finally crossdressed and it unleashed a lot of feelings yet gave me the most incredible high I've ever experienced. I doubt I will ever completely be at one with my transvestite nature but I do know I will always delight in appearing as a woman and enjoy every precious minute I spend in the role of a woman. Ultimately I know I like being a woman. |

Report AbuseWell, if that's what you're into then good for you. I don't really understand the drive but one time in 8th grade I dressed up as a man for my science project and did enjoy the sense of "concealment" I felt. I think that's the closest I can get to understanding your desire to look like a woman.

Report AbuseThis blog is further emergence from the closet - as I perhaps naively and foolishly now have ventured onto the open Web to express my thoughts about crossdressing/feminization and enjoying dressing and looking somewhat like a woman. Time will tel if I have indeed made a big mistake by opening up but as I dress up as a woman alone and in private I do at this moment feel the need for an outlet to express my musings on being a transvestite.

Report Abusei personally have found that the split life and secrecy almost killed me. so i dicided that if i was going to to survive it will be on my terms and by my rules of conduct. im a full time transgendered person,i am an independent paint contractor,a trekkie,a consevative and a mormon! i have given up family, friends, and my past to acheive personal sanity and a sense of self! the road from where you are to where i am is long, difficult, and lonely! it is full of a self examination that that pits your sense of self against a society that does not deal in depth of self, which makes them fearful of the responsibility they owe to thier own inner selves. the end result is that they lay all thier deep dark fantasies at your feet thru the stupid things that come out of thier mouths! i personally feel the pleasure and contentment i derive from living as a woman is worth the trade off and i will endeavor to look to the further femininization where ever i can accomplish it. strength of will is a requirement now that you are in the big wide world, but rest assured, you will find allies in the oddest manners and places. good luck on your adventure!!

Report AbuseJust a thought.
You know most men cannot understand why a man would enjoy feminizing themselves. For them, cross-dressing is a fate worse than death. It is so horrible that it is against the law to make prisoners of war or prison inmates wear feminine clothes.
Some estimate that nearly 50% of all males will cross-dress at some time in their lives. However the vast majority of these do it for laughs, to get attention, as a joke or as part of a dare. They get nothing out of it themselves.
Then there are people like you. About 10% of normal, healthy, heterosexual males will say that the experience of wearing women's clothes gives them a sensation of pleasure. Why? What it going on with these men?
For reasons not understood, their brains are hard-wired to release neurotransmitters (dopamine and others) when they feminize themselves. These neurotransmitters are powerful chemicals. They produce sensations of well-being, pleasure, sexual gratification and self-identity. They affect the reward centers of your brain, so that means they will mimic the addiction response. You will feel as if you NEED to cross-dress. And you can't stop.. You can't stop your brain from releasing neurotransmitters. You can't stop noticing pretty feminine things.
The vast majority of men with this condition consider it a problem. They want to be popular with the ladies. They want to get married and have a happy family. The compulsion of self-feminization brings a sense of guilt and shame. So they keep it private, very private, even secret. They place limits over their cross-dressing. That okay. By limiting their cross-dressing they are taking control over their lives. This mimics the addiction response, so you have to control it or it will control you.
Your brain is producing neurotransmitters which make your body feel pleasure. Your body craves the release of more neurotransmitters, so it instructs you to do more and more to release more neurotransmitters. You feel a drive to do whatever it takes to get the "high". For this reason men have left their spouses, their children, their friends and family, to pursue their first love.
You need to decide what course your life will take. Do not play the victim.

Report AbuseVery well put. Too often, this is associated with being homosexual, when in fact no more of men who do this are homsexual than those who do not. In fact, it's almost completely opposite. It is such an infatuation with any thing female or sexy that drives the man to immitate that as much as possible. Most of these men do not have any thoughts of other men. Ideally, they would like a woman who would be into them as a woman as well as as a man. They do enjoy the idea of anyone, male or female finding them to be sexy and attractive. It's a rush of feelings, desires and satisfaction that can't be described.
Many, continue on to seek a transgender lifestyle and continue to be atracted to women.
