Report AbuseIve been on the other side of the coin, I got involved with a woman about a year ago and what I thought was a relationship that was going somewhere (when she told me she loved me) turned out to be false, found out out she was also seeing another guy at the same time, really hurt, if you tell someone you love them, you better mean it. lesson learned

Report AbuseI am dealing with that issue in my life right now. And to tell u the truth I don't know what to do. How can u give your all to a person and they turn around and sht all over your heart. I have good days and bad days. All I can do right now is pray and ask GOD to help me threw this. In the long run this will only make me stronger...

Report AbuseBeen there and my take is that ppl are quick to say it, although in my case it certainly wasnt said all that quickly but oh well. I think ppl often say it when you get into a relationship cus its what's expected but you might have very different ideas of what you mean when you tell your partner you love them. I think they always care but some ppl say it and mean it in a i will love u forever u are the one no matter what straight out of a romance novel sorta way and some ppl mean it more like i love you now cus we are together and i really like you and i think you're hot and want to have sex but we'll see what tomorrow holds. Just in expectations I guess.
