The man-eating actress has plowed through suitors like Dax Shephard, Owen Wilson and fellow athlete Lance Armstrong, but no man seems to quell her appetite for long. Back in November of last year, Kate met A-Rod at a dinner celebrating the reopening of the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach last November. A fellow diner claims, "A-Rod and Kate were having a blast, flirting, laughing, and doing high-fives to each other much of the night.” In January, the duo had dinner with friends at Lure Fishbar in SoHo and then had drinks at the Rose Bar in the Gramercy Park Hotel. Apparently these early sparks have now ignited a relationship.
This past Friday, Hudson was spotted and photographed (above) at a Yankee game cheering on her crush and later accompanied the third baseman to Mustang Grill in Manhattan. Restaurant owner Rob Olsen
says, "We sat them in a private area of the restaurant, a private room off the main dining room. They were there for about an hour,” he says. “They left around 1 a.m. They had dinner and drinks. They appeared to enjoy themselves." An insider says a bartender at the restaurant "was asking patrons not to go in the back room around 1 a.m. because A-Rod and Kate Hudson were back there making out." While both their reps have declined to comment, another insider says that Hudson "went to the game [Friday night] and then they had dinner together. She's trying to be hush-hush to everyone she talks to about him."
A baseball and a dinner do not a budding relationship make. But a source spotted the new couple outside A-Rods apartment at 15 Central Park West over the weekend. Going back for a nightcap? We know neither of these two are shy, so a relationship should really fall into their laps.
