In a moment of judicial clarity, California's State Supreme Court legalized gay marriage yesterday.
Yay for human rights! But it won't be long (November to be exact) until
social conservatives will put a constitutional amendment to undo all
this good on the ballot. Here's five reasons why the anti-gay
conservatives should get on the love train:
1. All the money spent on fabulous gay weddings will drive this sluggish economy.
2.
When gays marry, they'll move to new communities, buy houses, and
settle down -- which has actually been shown to increase property
values.
3. More traditional weddings will mean church attendance will be up -- even atheists will go to church for a wedding!
4. When
you get married and have kids, you tend to leave your feel-good liberal
values behind for more conservative ones relating to taxes, crime and
kids ("Child molesters should wear blinking collars after having their
genitals surgically removed!").
5. And, of course, if you don't want people having gay sex, then let them get married: they'll eventually never have sex again.

WHO ARE YOU TOO LOOK DOWN ON US WE ALL BLEED RED, WE ALL CRY, WE LOVE. I KNOW DEEP IN MY HEART GOD UNDERSTAND ME BEING A LESBIAN. SO ALL YOU CHURCH PEOPLE OUT THERE READ YOUR BIBLE DONT PUT MORE IN TO IT. GOD LOVES US ALL NO MATTER WHAT OR WHO WE ARE. SO PA. LETS LET GAYS MARRY WE WILL PAY TAXES BUY HOMES YES HAVE CHILDREN. Report AbuseGays are already shacking up and buying property together so I don't see how having a "civil union" will change this. As far as getting married and having kids...getting married and buying a poodle would be more accurate since its impossible for them to procreate.
The lessies have a better shot at going to a sperm bank but the guys can pretty much hang it up. Of course there's always adoption. Good luck with the waiting list. I wonder how many are going to run out and get "married" this time around before it gets reversed and shut down? The states & the government need to get on the same page and stay there. This flip-flopping they did last time was an embarrassment.

Report AbuseMarriage... Personally I think the government should ditch that title.. Be fair, and call EVERY Legal union a "Civil Union" This way If the Church and conservatives are worried about "destroying the sanctity of marriage" they don’t have to worry.. It’s a civil union. If you and your husband want to go and not have to worry about a church, and just use a Justice of the Peace.. It’s a "Civil Union" Everyone equal, and we will take the semantics out of the argument.
BTW think about it.. If in all the arguments you replaced "Gay" With "Black" and "Straight/Hetero" with "White" Would they be constitutionally allowed? Or would the 90% of the country be outraged at your "Backwards" Thinking?

Report AbuseTo the poster of "read your Bible" perhaps you should try your own advice. Yes God loves ALL of us but He loves us toomuch to leave us the way we are. He helpd us to change. Read Romans Chapters 1-4 if you are in any doubt about GOD's stance on this issue. It doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks
