How do you break the friend image

I'm the listener, the understander, the shoulder, for a lot of female friends of mine. There were at times a couple of them that I would have like to started a relationship with. (Not at the same time) How do I get beyond the friendship barrier??

Hi Chie Chie...please just say something, don't wait around. Take her out for lunch/dinner or a movie, something you both like doing as friends. This will make you both comfortable and should be easy for you to reveal your feelings. I was on the other side of this so many times, if I was told, it worked out, I would prefer to date someone I established as a friend first, it makes dating easier, as opposed to meeting someone ranmdom off the street. But twice, I was so upset they didn't say anything to me, didn't find out until years later!!!! One had moved away & 10 years later, he comes home to visit & THEN TELLS ME!!!!WTF!!!I had already moved on. The other, tells me at the airport on his way back to Turkey!!!He was never returning to the US!!! Both times, I had my female intuition working & I knew something was between us & I tried to say something but they would laugh me off. Turns out both situations, they didn't believe me (we're friends,so they didn't think it was possible) & they didn't confront me because they were scared I would just see them as friends.

Either way...at least you can say to yourself that you said something, otherwise, you will never know. Seriously, one of them really broke my heart by waiting 10 years...he was the one I would have truely fallen in love with for the rest of my life...actually I do love him, 5 years after finding out. Please just say something now..don't let time pass by.Off to cry now.
