How do you feel about the term "trollop?"

We've all heard by now that John McCain allegedly called his wife the "C" word, but the man who claims he heard him also says he used the "T" word in the same sentence, which is documented in the book, The Real McCain by Cliff Schecter. Says The Raw Story:

"John McCain's temper is well documented. He's called opponents and colleagues 's**theads,' 'assholes' and in at least one case 'a fu$#*ng jerk.'" Here's a lesser known factoid about him: Apparently, his high school nickname was "McNasty."

But according to Schecter, he really went over the edge when his wife Cindy insinuated that he was losing some of his hair:

"In his 1992 Senate bid, McCain was joined on the campaign trail by his wife, Cindy, as well as campaign aide Doug Cole and consultant Wes Gullett. At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain's hair and said, "You're getting a little thin up there." McCain's face reddened, and he responded, "At least I don't plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you c$#t." McCain's excuse was that it had been a long day. If elected president of the United States, McCain would have many long days."

Yeoch.

Now, for all you young uns out there who have probably never even heard the term, Webster's (you've heard of them, right?) defines a trollop as, "a vulgar or disreputable woman; especially: one who engages in sex promiscuously or for money," basically you know, a w----, or a scrub or whatever it is the kids say these days. At any rate, the term has now entered the popular lexicon, and it certainly supports the point that McCain opposition, and heck, even supporters have made that he is, in fact, really, really old.

So come on ladies, I just gotta know: Has anyone ever called you a trollop!?

Oh whatever. I'm not voting for the guy, but who cares? It was all out of jest. People are blowing this up more than it should be. I'm a woman and I have nothing against the c-word. If anything "Arrested Development" and "Family Guy" made the word hilarious on whole new levels.

NO! No one has ever called me a trollop, and they had better not ever if they wish to continue breathing.

I've heard that if you answer a riddle, they let you cross. I support trollops, they keep the cost of bridge custom officials low.

Cindy McCain and her many millions have done much for charity... especially " Operation Smile". Why she married a loser like John McCain , and takes his abuse, is a true mystery

I used that word recently and a friend of mine laughed, she thinks it's a funny sounding word and so do I ... but didn't get it from McCain, I mostly remember it from a female boss I had about 20 yrs ago who said she didn't want her daughter wearing make up and looking like a little trollop! lol

As far as the "c" word: "It's rude, crude, unrefined and socially unacceptable!"

(thank you Stephanie from the 6th grade)

Good luck to all of us, and I would still rather have a tough old man who would willngly die for his country than a young man who looks good and sounds good and has no love of country - except for how it can serve him.

I'd have to agree with the previous comment. McCain would do a far better job. As fot saying the "c word", are we seriously going to just believe that some guy heard him say that? Give me a break. Think about how many other words he could have been saying, IF the situation itsself is even true. Give me a break. People are just trying to come up with a reason to crap on the poor guy. Seriously...

This is such an obvious and pathetic smear effort. If it had any validity at all it would be household knowledge,on every legitimate news source, and he would have come out with a statement. I just emphasizes that part of this site's agenda is to spread liberal propaganda. It's unbelievable that anyone with a three digit IQ would fall for these childish tactics. Shine and Yahoo should be ashamed. The National Enquirer is more reputable by comparison.
