How Much Cleavage Do You Show At Work?

Check out Ryan's sympathy cleavage.

Check out Ryan's sympathy cleavage.

After work, I don’t usually go home first before I go out for drinks. I live too far uptown. So I’m always dressing for the office and my social activities. Now, I work with mostly women so I see cleavage all the time, every day. But even if your boss shows more than you and it's totally fine…you might go out that night with a guy who thinks you’re unprofessional and probably the idiot who never gets promoted. While casual dresses and jeans are the uniform in my industry, I once had a boyfriend who looked down on me for it. Even though everyone wore jeans. He totally judged me.

9 hot outfits that'll make him melt.

On a first date, you want your outfit to say, “I’m an ambitious professional with a job, but I also know enough to wear something feminine or cleavagey for you.” But I don't want to say, “I risked my job to look this good.”

7 cute first-date outfits for every type.

I constantly run into this problem when I have a date or party after work. You want to show your figure but also be professional. You want to suggest but not be suggestive. It’s a vicious cycle.

Do you wear cleavage to work? Do you work with men? Do you change outfits in your car? Go from cubicle to date?

P.S. Check out 3 pick-up shirts that men love (one of these is office-friendly!).

I don't show cleavage at work; I'm an office manager in a government organization. I don't think it's professional, and I would never want to be thought of "that way". If you want to go out after work, leave a change of clothes in your office. Makes it pretty simple.

I have sometimes changed and sometimes not. I have a lot of flexibility with what I can wear to work as I don't interact with customers or clients. I can't really wear heels though unless I want to be unable to walk. So I would wear something reasonably appropriate and then change my shoes to spice up an outfit, maybe change other accessories.

The picture you posted is barely cleavage, that would be a non issue at work. Now if you only had on the black shirt, that would be too much.

None. People here are very conservative and I do not want to loose my job. Plus its not how I want to present myself, ex: 'hey look at me and my boobs"

I have gone out plenty of times after work, and have been faced with the same problem. But there is never a need to show clevage. I work with a lot of high end business men, and would like to be taken serious, not to mention not send out the wrong message. When I am wearing a clevage bearing shirt, I simply wear a sweater or jacket of some sort to cover the twins. After all, that's what strip clubs are for.

    Dubs,

Is that a raise in your earnings or a raise in his pants?
