Is your relationship moving forward or standing still?

Healthy relationship are constantly moving forward. Couples grow together, and grow closer together through exploration, importation, and re-orientation. Allow me to explain what I mean.

Exploring new or different passions breathes new life into a person. Exploring new passions together breathes new life into a relationship. Whether it's ballroom dancing, or discovering new moves in the bedroom, the excitement of something new breaks you out of the same old, same-old. It's like a kid waking up on Christmas morning, or a woman finding a pair of Jimm Choo shoes at Walmart prices.

Importing new ideas into your relationship spices up your romance. Trust me, doing the same old thing all the time becomes monotonous, and sooner or later, someone's mind begins to wander. Familiarity is great when sitting in the comfort of your favorite chair in front of the TV, but in the bedroom, you'd better bring something new to the game. Remember, variety is the spice of life. And if you ain't doing it, someone else will.

Sometime, relationships simply get off course. Re-orienting your relationship to those things that brought you together can often bring you back together. Relationships get put on cruise control after the newness wears off, and before you both know it, you're both wondering what happened. Exploring new passions and importing new ideas doesn't mean forgetting about why you first got together. They simply add new dimensions, and new opportunities for growth.
