I just read a blog about how Brad Pitt donated 100,000 dollars
to raise awareness for gay marriages and all that jazz, and its sad
how many people will talk crap about it. How many people bring it
down.
Let's get a few things straight(no pun intended), church
and state are supposed to be seperate. Although christian beliefs
were the builing block of the united states, the pilgrims came to
the u.s. to seek religious freedom, so to force your beliefs of God
and all that magic on someone else, it is
indeed oppressing.
i'm tired of that "adam and steve"(oh and my new favorite one
"sarah and eve"...) crap. i dont know how many times I've heard
that already and each time it just makes me think less of
christians.
So you don't agree with gay marriages because marriage is so great
and holy and should not be tainted. But certainly, it has not been
tainted already by all those divorces that take place day to
day.
I'm tired of this, completely. Live and let live.
here we go...

Report AbuseI am a christian, and i do not judge anyone, that is not my job. We are not to judge others, we all have sin. I have many many friends of different backgrounds. I think it is sad to down anyone, but it happens more than it should.

Report AbuseFrom the mouth of babes.....come nonsense...one persons sin doesn't justify another person' sin. What you think of christians is illrevelent, its what God thinks of you that truly matters at the end of the day. And that, I hope is what you will come to understand...
How do you eat a elephant.. one bit at a time...how do you destroy a nation... change one law at a time...to fit your personal agenda... are you aware that there is now one man fighting for the rights of men to have consentual sex boyz...we must draw the line in the sand and the best place to draw it in along the same lines that god drew...

Report AbuseHey I read your post on the kissing blog. So, do you have any of those cool "One time at band camp" stories? LOL. I get my sister with that all the time. She was in band too.

Report AbuseI must admit I run from conversations that have religious undertones. I think it leads to unnecessary grief and a lot of unsatisfied people. It's like everyone may as well agree to disagree because no one will ever win the argument. But anyway, I think homosexuals should have all the rights that other American's have. It's not a religious thing it's a civil rights thing.

Report AbuseAmen! Lol - it's not about religion, as Kenda says, it's about civil rights. We're talking about two adults entering into a legal commitment. Gender shouldn't matter here, in the world of State, not Church. Churches should never be forced to perform gay weddings, but any two adults should be able to go down to the courthouse and enter into a binding contract no matter their religion, gender, race, or hair color! :)
