Love is not worth it at all.

Its been said that live without love is not worth living at all. I rather not know at all. This s--- hurts to f------ much.  I guess I am venting. I know I am strong. I left a cheating husband to raise our baby alone). I guess I didn't expect to fall in love again. Well, I didn't fall in love with my ex husband,. I just loved him alot. When that love died( because he killed it with his lies and cheating) I bounced. I didn't think I would fall so hard for Quinten. I made this decision to walk away because it seems like he may love me but still..he is playing too much right now. I can't deal with that. I don't want to fall in love again. I refuse to. Why should I? I rather not know this pain. I know its going to take sometime to stop loving him. I can't expect it to happen overnight. It would be nice however to wake up and not love him. To stop thinking about him. To stop missing him. All of that would be awesome. I do know one person who loves me and I love them back! That is me! I love myself very much. Also, another person who loves me unconditionally is my son. He isn't a man by legal standards but I am raising him to be a good man. So hey, I guess I am good to go.

I'm only 23 and I know I have a lot more to experience. One thing is for sure..I don't want to be in love with anyone else again.

Wow. Don't close your heart because of one or two - or even a few bad men or experiences. Take some time to get healed, go to God in prayer, and do what you have to for yourself. It's okay to be cautious, but it's also okay to fall in love again after getting hurt. Try it with someone who will do like Shemar Moore in Tyler Perry's "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" - love you past your pain. It can happen.

    Heartbreaker,

Thank you for your advice. I don't want to close my heart off. I just need to right now so I can heal.
