  Disturbing... And this is obviously a main factor as to why she was so heavily addicted to drugs and alcohol.

  When people are are that high on drugs/alcohol there has to be a period they're sober enough to remember things. Even if it's cloudy and in pieces. But she realized her dad was having sex with her on the eve of her wedding day, high or not, she said she blacked out again. I don't understand this but I'm guessing it wasn't the first time since she was already so heavily addicted.

  To continue to have consensual sex is even more twisted and bizarre. To suddenly wait till he's on his death bed to then accuse him of rape?? I'm confused.

  Perhaps, she realized it finally? That she'd been raped? How then is it she continued to have an affair with him? I'll tune in to Oprah because it's just such an unbelievable story it seems it just has to be real. I just want to know why now? She had every opportunity, every chance, to have this man locked up and revealed for what he truly was... My heart goes out to her and other children who experience the same. I'd wish she would've done/said something sooner - so other young children/adolescents/teens - could be made aware and know they have the power/control to "out" their abuser/rapists. Such a sad sickening story.

  i think she lied about the whole thing so people will buy her book and she can make some money to buy some good sh$t dough.

  JonW....and you came to this conclusion why?...it must have been very difficult to come up with such an original scenario as yours.

  At any rate, no she more than likely is not lying, you obviously aren't old enough to understand the era she grew up in..and the turmoil she was put through between her birth mother,father, her stepmother. With all this she's lucky that's all that happened to her....hmmm and to think she'd wait till she was almost 50 before finding out how to get good sh$t...amazing theory
