Mid-40s and dating....oh what fu*********

I am 46yo white female and have been single about a year and a half.

Having been in a relationship since my 30s I actually thought I would enjoy the "dating scene".
But so far...not so much...

Here are some high-lights of the last year:

"Chris" and I hit it off immediately. We cooked dinners together; great chats about current events; listened to old 80's rock and knew all the words; just an all around fun time! Nice as it all was he couldn't maintain his enthusiasm in bed and sexual compatibility is very important! And I really think he wanted to ask another guy to join us and well, not in my bed! (Met online)

Then I dated "Luis" - nice guy from South America; very sexy and very Latin. Some of the best make-out sessions ever! But at 50yo he didn't have a savings account! Now I'm not looking for a guy with money; I've got my own; don't need support or assistance. Just want a responsible guy who has hopes, dreams, plans, etc.. Never made it to bed...but bet it would've been great! (met via friends)

Then there's "Mark" - Lots of fun, good laughs, fine wine and food. A kind and considerate guy. Good chemistry and lots of "heat". But at 45yo he LIVES WITH HIS MOTHER! So I thought, okay maybe this could just be a fun distraction....no hopes or expectations....just some good adult fun. Until he asked to borrow money from me. REALLY? WTF? (met at bookstore)

So what's the point of this rambling post? IDK maybe just to vent; maybe to read my own words; and maybe to hear what you guys think?  Am I really expecting too much that a 45yo+ guy would have his sh*t together, not live with his mother, and be able to keep it up?

PS - please don't send me ics of your penis. Guys, I really just want your insight!
