Two days ago my girlfriend hacked my facebook account and saw messages i sent to a girl i used to mess with. The messages were sent at least a month ago during the time i saw my ex had wrote a note talking bout messing with some dude. Now i didnt even know how easy it was for her to hack my account because she just got my password reset and then she had full access to my account. Neway finally we are over and im happy and confused. Now i admit the messages were inappropriate, but during this time we were saying we're seperated and i had just saw that note like i said. Neway do i have the right to feel violated?

Report AbuseIt was really hard for me to understand your post, but I think I finally figured it out. I'm not justifying her actions, but obviously she had reason to be worried about your relationship and not trust you? I would like to think she wouldn't just hack into it for no reason whatsoever, but I could be wrong. Anyway, she should have discussed her issues with you and you shouldn't have messed around with somebody, even though you were "separated" (unless that was the agreement. Some couples take breaks from each other, but then promise to not see others for a bit). And even though you saw a note on hers saying she was messing around, why does that make it okay without you guys talking about it first? Two wrongs do not make a right. I understand that you feel violated, but think about what made her go to such drastic measures to begin with. If you can honestly say that she had no basis whatsoever and you did everything right, then okay, you're the good guy in this. But, if you were doing inappropriate things that drove your girlfriend to sneak into your account, then maybe you should rethink those actions and try to avoid doing them again in future relationships.
