Not naming names, but John Mayer totally sold out his ex

One month after his split from Jennifer Aniston, John Mayer has debuted a new song called “Heartbreak Warfare” and you can guess who it’s about.

While Jen isn’t called out by name, the lyrics go: "Drop his name, push it in and twist the knife again; Watch my face as I pretend to feel no pain, pain, pain." Hmm, could this be about her ex-hubby Brad Pitt, who she can’t seem to stop talking about? The chorus of “Heartbreak” says, “If you want more love, Why don't you say so?" So basically it’s a song about a woman obsessed with another man who can only communicate indirectly, like perhaps through tabloid interviews. Yeah, we definitely don’t know anyone like that.

Mayer told the audience on his Mayercraft Carrier 2 cruise (um, he has his own cruise ship?!) that he will be recording the track this month for his upcoming CD “Battle Studies” "The concept of the album is the war of love – the art of war of love," said Mayer. "Sometimes instead of saying 'I love you,' people can't recognize that. They recognize how much you come to their aid when they are in pain."

"I am a positivity man," he continued. "Sometimes people try to recognize love in terms of negativity. When you are in that situation, that is not a lot of fun."

We can’t wait to see if Jen is able to keep her mouth shut this time! [People]

Jennifer Aniston, as annoying as she is, could do much better. John Mayer can't sing worth a ***, is dorky looking, and looks even worse now with that ridiculous tattoo! He is way below what she should be getting, based upon her looks, body (amazing as it is), and money. She is annoying, but he is worse.

I agree with COmmon Sense, he is a total nerd. And I think if she wants to have along term successful relationship she needs to learn to shut he mouth and just enjoy what she has. Brad is gone, he left you, stop talking about him!

Let's Here it for the 40+ probably divorced, definitely out of touch set (common sense/*goldengirl*) LOL! Seems to me no matter how much of an akward nerd/dork John Mayer actually is the common denominator is Jennifer Aniston.

I dont want to get anyone upset, but I think the whold kiss and tell or badmouth is in poor taste. If it is over and done, it is over and done. If you still have issues you go to the person, not tell the world and let the person hear it that way. He needs to remember, if she was good enough for him to love, then she is good enough to let go of with dignity and decency. We do not know that it was Brad he is talking about. It could be Vince Vaughn.

By the By golden girl, I'm way past the obnoxious blush of youth to which you refer and also happen to be happily married for almost as many years past that tender age to which you so bitterly rail against. I have wisdom a plenty dear, for example I happen to feel I'm responsible for my own happiness and there for do not pin it on a man... which is also why marriage works and you're probably alone in a house full with your children and husband, if you haven't already failed at that ...drowning you man sorrows in a glass of pinot as we speak.
