WHEN SHE DREAMS
CHAPTER ONE



"If  you could go back,rewrite,edit,weave,and redirect your book, you know the story of your life. How would it end?" Asked Dr. Corinth with non-catchy vigor and excitement.

"That is the problem!" Mackenzie shrugged.

She watched the cold energy of the fresh,steel rain.Purifying,bullet forced rain that was cleansing...refreshing all that it touched.Mackenzie heavy eyed in quiet thought,"I hope the rain can cleanse the dirty,residual reaping disdain of volitile karmic sin off of this city!"

A city that was polluted in sinful filth.Not to mention everything else that was corrupting it in the names of "GROWTH and "URBANIZATION" Where it disgusted her that people there everyday seemed to sellout or pawn their soul for what would equate to about a copper nickel or, a 3 dollar bill.

She somehow found solace in the rain.It was the only easy thing to focus on through red,tired,eyes.Eyes that found no comfort in the form of sleep they only feigned sleep through the help of concealer and heavy mascarra.

"The story was never finished." She spoke in the direction  of the window with a glazed off look.
She took a deep stagnant breath bringing herself back to the reality that she was in the middle of a counseling session.

"This is my story,this is my world that I am trying to make you understand in every tiring,relentless session we have!"

Ahhh! She let out a sound of satisfaction that was the furthest thing from the truth. Now looking in Dr.Corinths direction."I haven't even thought about the end yet when I am stuck here in the middle." She paused,"Don't think that I have not been brought into your world for a reason Dr.Corinth!" Mackenzie was monotoned as she dead locked fixated,hollow eyes on the counselor."YEP JUST STUCK!"

The problem now lay with Dr. Corinth at this point in the session.As she uncomfortably grabbed the timer clock off the desk, rushing the last two minutes away."O.K.! That's our session for the day. I'll see you in 3 days Mackenzie."

Dr.Corinth squeezed lemon into her Iced-tea.She poured a sweet and low stirring the perfect thirst quencher. "I don't know Gwen there's something about this girl!" Dr. Corinth said to her comrade. Their friendship extended beyond just being in the same career field.They also were privy in all areas of eachothers private lives as well.

Gwen better known as Dr.Sigler, could not contain the outburst of laughter that ran through her sentence."For God sakes Christine, you're a headshrink! When the hell don't you deal with weird?"

"No Gwen there is something I see in this girl that is so deep,different.Her eyes show no emotion. Hell somedays it's like shes barely breathing! She is just so very perplexing to me!"
The waitress sweetly interrupted, "Are you ready ladies?" She walked away placing the order. Stunned by such openess discussing a patient."Don't they have to take an oath or something for confidentiality?" She stressed wondering if she had ever been 1 of her many counselors topics of dinner time conversation.

Gwen jumped in ."Look Christine do you really even have her diagnosed yet?" christine with a quickness,"No I don't" Gwen continued "Well then don't you think you may be being to rash with insinuations?"

"Yeah you're right! Let me have a few more sessions with her." Dr. Corinth raised her iced tea to Gwen's wine glass. "Congradulations on your promotion Dr.Sigler." With that they focused on their lunch,new Gucci handbags and the perpetual hell of dating... TO BE CONTINUED
