To me, one of the more interesting discussions that pop-up in reference to sexual issues within our network has always been the topic of oral sex. And the issue becomes even more interesting depending on the view point of men, women, whether you’re talking privately or in a group setting, and even between blacks and whites.
I love talking to women about oral sex. Regardless of demographic differences, they seem to all agree that they enjoy it to some degree. They may differ on how they want it, but most would like some form of it included in their intimate experience. Some want it strictly as an appetizer. Others want it as the main course. And still others want it for dessert. But, they all seem to want it. I really get a kick out of the women who admit they want it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They want it all the time, and aren’t ashamed to say so. These women tend to be a little more sexually experienced, and a lot more sexually liberated. Many of them actually prefer the lick sensation to penetration, and only indulge the one, just to get more of the other.
But guys are different. We already have a bad reputation for exaggerating sexual experiences.
Depending on who you’re talking to, and when you’re talking to them, you might get different answers to the same question. Younger guys seem to take pride in their “staying power”. They brag about how well they “sling it”, and invent wonderfully creative phrases like; “knocking dem boots”, “beating it up”, “hitting it hard”, and the newest one, “Superman dat hoe”. The funny thing is that when speaking to younger women, few of them have ever achieved that elusive “O”, which makes me wonder how much slinging Superman is actually doing, or whether he’s hitting it right instead of hitting it hard.
Even more interesting is the number of younger guys who admit they enjoy receiving oral sex, but deny ever giving it. And, what is about the age of 30 that makes it taboo to “lick it” if you’re under it, but OK to tickle a woman’s fancy once you’re over it. I know one guy who at 29, adamantly denied had that he’d ever gone “downtown”. Three months later, after the big 3-0, he bragged about being a grand master. I‘m sorry, but I don’t know of anyone who’s mastered anything who did not have to train and practice to hone their craft. But I guess what really caught my attention is the number of guys who also said that they prefer “head” to “hitting it”.
Which brings me to my question: Which is YOUR preference??? Do you prefer a good “lick”, or a good “fit”? Inquiring minds wanna know!
