Shine Survey on who are we as females Ugh?

Shine on Yahoo who are we ladies?

Yahoo is asking women to take a survey after doing the same with men to determine what it means to be a female in today’s fast paced and difficult world we live in.  My first thought what is a female and of course the descriptions are anywhere from women or girls sex that produces offspring and here’s one that really meant a great deal we able to produce seeds  really is this who we are and can 25 questions and a little dialogue box which allows a few sentences really tell our story.

I’m convinced it can’t and I’m even a little aggravated as to who came up with this idea and if there is a screaming chance they’ll instead ask us to submit our ideas in our own words and let them read a little about who we are thus with that in mind here are a few of my thoughts and maybe they’ll post my ideas and you can add them to my comments so we can make a statement as to “IN OUR WORDS WHO WE ARE”

I’m a 63 year old grandmother who just finished her second battle with cancer my last Chemo treatment was one year ago this month and my prognosis is very good in spite of my diagnosis which was Ovarian Cancer Stage 3b.  I have one daughter she’s 43 has 7 children and 5 grandchildren which makes me a great grandmother as well which I love.  I work full time selling commercial real estate (30 years) and because of everything we lost in the crash (that they pretend never happened) like many of us I’ll be working full time for quite awhile.  I started a blog http://grammology.com with a friend 3 years ago and I spend approximately 25 to 35 hours a week writing post and reading other blogs because it’s my true passion and sharing and reading other blogs has been part of my mental healing from the cancer and my life.

My fears what are our politicians doing for us and do we have a voice as it seems whatever we do more taxes and fees are on the horizon for all of us.  There are so many issues such as the price of gasoline, who is or was the best man to head our economy, what will the banks do next so they are able to back door fees in our lives and how can we find time to be a mom and grandmother when all we do is fight to make ends meet and stabilize our children as each day there is another crisis to be concerned with.  Mom’s read articles, try to learn how to meditate, listen to seminars on tape and in general try to find the secret to peace and serenity for their families and themselves and it feels like a loosing battle as interest rates are heading up again and the big companies are out of hot water evolving (GM) as though they did us a favor and didn’t we bail them out and our friends and family have lost most or all of their stock and no one cares.  I want to be an American and I love the United States and what it represents I especially support our troops my grandson returned from the Marines a few months ago after spending four years and two tours in Iraq and I’m grateful to every soldier who fights for our freedom. However, there is something amiss in our country and I’m scared to death we are loosing our middle class thus I’m wondering if your feeling the same and acting like a mom wife friend and sibling is getting harder because we’re fighting to get through the week and can no longer take time to smell the roses and enjoy the simple freedoms of our country because we have too much to do in one 24hours day  who has time to think about being beautiful, sexy, or in love when all we're really doing is surviving. (Tell me is it true?)

The middle class is disappearing with the majority of us no longer having medical insurance.
