Slightly offensive new Post-it note campaign?
editor
Has anyone else had the pleasure of finding this photo (subject: How Real Men Use Post-It Notes) in their inbox recently? Evidently it's been making the rounds. First thought: What merry little prankster actually spent time Photoshopping this puppy together? Second question: Wait, is this a real ad? Third: Is this hilarious? Or is it just plain offensive?
Anyone?

There are certainly many ad campaigns that demean men through stereotypes, and this one is no different... but I think it falls into that category of images / ad campaigns where we try and not take it too seriously...

Well it is a little offensive. I am not overly sensitive to this kind of crap and it really is demeaning not only to women but to men as well that they can be all catagorized as the type who have to label their partners in order to keep track. It's a silly attempt at humor and I really wonder if the big dogs at Post It would approve such an ad. It really does look like another one of those sophomoric emails that you get constantly.

Pretty Funny if your in a stable relationship and settled ( like old me) Not so funny to girls and women dating and trying to find a guy who remembers their name, and trying to find a guy worth remembering!

At this point I think men should find it insulting. She obvisuly dosn't need the reminder of who she just sleept with. He on the other hand is to stuped to ask or rember her name. She obviusly dosn't need a scorboard or reminder to rembar her conquests. So is he too dumb? Men should be pissed. Eather it dosn't mater what their name is, or it does. If it does no need for the post it, if it doesn't no need for the post it.

I don't really find it offensive and would actually laugh at that. But then again I don't take any advertisements seriously and I have an odd sense of humor for a chick.

Whether it's hilarious or not, it's a fragrant exaggeration of post-it's stickiness. Maybe it's just my overactive oil glands, but post-its never stick to my face for very long.
false advertising!

If i was a guy i wouldnt take it offensivly maybe its because i grew up in a family of all girls and one lil brother, then went out and have friends of majority guys. One of which is so close to me he is my big brother. Maybe it is that i spend most of my time around guys, the kind of guys that would just look at that picture and laugh their asses off. I think it is funny and i dont find it demeaning at all. I think that if you choose to be offeneded by innocent humor then that is your choice but i dont think it could be anything other than funny. You dont even have to read the title to understand and thats one of the reasons i like it. The title just gives it that extra kick that makes it hallariouse. Sorry to people who do get offened but i think you have a poor scence of humor.
