  THis is why marriage is a horrible mistake! MEN only care about money and sex. Men always treat women like crap evenf or THEIR own mistakes. BAN MARRIAGE! Say no to it. a husband is a horrible and expensive thing to have.

  Men pay women alimony all the time. Why is it a shock when the woman who is making more money than her husband has to fork over cash because of the life "he's grown accustomed to."

  We want equality as women, so why shouldn't we cough up the money if we earn more than the man? I paid court ordered support to my ex-husband during the three years we were separated (and as he was making more and more ridiculous demands)until the divorce was finalized. Didn't like it a bit, but I was making considerably more then he was. However, the judge at the final date put a stop to that with some strong language instructing my ex to shape up and stop riding the gravy train...a variation of the same message he gave women who were looking for a free ride too.
