User post: Thing guys wonder about in relationships

While conducting a little informal relationships research over a couple of beers, I asked a few friends what things they were curious about in their relationships, but might never ask. Answers ranged from "I was actually wondering..." to "I know everything that I need to know." But it's funny how relaxed guys become when someone else is buying the pitchers of brew.

Anyway, here are a few of the questions that popped up, and I thought that I'd ask them of the no-holds-barred women of Shine.

1. Have you ever thought (or do you currently think) of another guy while making love to your man?
2. Have you flirted with another guy while out with your friends?
3. How far have you allowed flirting to go (without engaging in sex) while in a relationship?
4. Have you ever suspected your man of cheating, but didn't know for sure?
5. Have you ever cheated in a relationship, but your man never found out?
 
And just in case you're wondering. I posed the same questions to the six guys (including myself) that I was with. Here are the results.

1. Four of the six have thought of other women during sex.
2. Five of the six have flirted (or attempted to flirt) with other women.
3. One of them just made eye contact and smiled, another tried with no success, three got phone            numbers (but only one actually called).
4. Two of them have suspected their women of cheating, but only one confronted her about it.
5. Two of them cheated, but only one of them got caught.

    4. yes and he so did!! 3 f--- in times!!! a---- !! which i found out about later but always suspected

    5. no never!!! that is so worng!!!! i hate people that are liars and cheaters in order to cheat you must lie about it!!! right?

    1. I honestly haven't.

    2. Probably unintentionally. I'd feel way too guilty if I went out to flirt on purpose.

    3. I have conversations with other guys, but nothing farther than a conversation.

    4. I haven't.

    5. No, I would never cheat. If it came down (again, highly unlikely) to me having feelings for someone else, I'd discuss it with my boyfriend and end it before something even started.

    1. Nope. Never needed to, thankfully!

    2. No. People do sometimes mistake my being silly with flirting.

    3. Refer to question 2.

    4. I have never suspected my husband of cheating.

    5. I have cheated in past relationships and later fessed up.

    1. No. If I am going to have sex with you, it better be because you are physically attractive to me.

    2. Not while out with friends, because friends talk TO MUCH! but out alone yes.

    3. Getting a number. I will always allow you to give me your number, but I do not give mines out unless I plan on actually hearing from you.

    4. ALWAYS! I always have suspsions but I only bring them up in extreme circumstances where I KNOW he is cheating and I want to hear it from the horses mouth so to speak.

    5. Yes, Once. I dont want to do it again, ever. I will usually just break up with you I feel like having sex with someone else. Spare me the drama please.

    1. Sort of, but not a real guy... just the threesome thing, and the third was a faceless body kind of a thing.

    2. I've been told I flirt but I don't on purpose!

    3. Just words, I think.

    4. Yup. I confronted him and I was right.

    5. Never cheated, never will.

    good post, i was just wondering why the only questions guys have about relationships deal with being faithful? i know its a big deal, but aren't there other things you could wonder about, too?

    2.No my boyfriend thinks i do but i really don't.

    3.I don't flirt i just smile and move along.

    4.No I know my boyfriend would never cheat on me but i always tease him about it.
