Vanessa Hudgens takes more nude pics: Hasn’t she learned her lesson?

Disney star Vanessa Hudgens had a photo scandal two years ago when pictures she took of herself to send to boyfriend Zac Efron somehow found their way to the internet. At the time, an 18-year-old Hudgens acted very ashamed about the photos her rep said were "privately taken." "I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me," she said in 2007. "I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends." Disney supported her saying, "Vanessa has apologized for what was obviously a lapse in judgment. We hope she's learned a valuable lesson."

Apparently the lesson was not learned, because today more racy images surfaced online of the now 20-year-old star. Why is the "High School Musical" actress putting her career and reputation at risk with these photos? Clearly if it happened to her once, she must have known it could happen again. Is it possible that Hudgens doesn't care about nude photos of her being blogged about and posted for all to see? Is there some way they are being "leaked" on purpose?

Many other young celebs have had their bodies inadvertently put on display. Questionable photos have leaked of Miley Cyrus (more than once), Cassie, possibly Rihanna and others. Many times their poses suggest the women are posing for boyfriends or taking the pictures with the intention of sending them to someone. With the knowledge we have that many young ladies are now taking these types of photos, is there added pressure on young ladies to continue taking them?

You can click over to What Would Tyler Durden Do to see the NSFW photos and the original batch here. Why do you think these photo scandals keep happening? Have you ever taken provocative photos of yourself to send someone, and if so were you concerned about more people seeing them accidentally? [WWTDD][People]

Oh boy. The more I read about celeb teens doing it, and the more I read about 'real' teens taking dirty photos and sending them to each other, the more I try to understand why a mere 5-6 years ago, when I was in high school, this wasn't on my mind...or really on anyone's mind. DUH a photo of you can get out, especially if it's juicy. There are complaints of the over-sexualizing of today's society, and stunts like this prove it's a-ok to pose naked for the camera, regardless of if it's going to Hustler, your teen boyfriend, or the web.

She didn't send those original photos to Efron, it was some other dude.

Easy answer to your question of why...

Any PR is good, even if it makes you look bad. She wants to escape the Disney good girl image and being naked might do the trick.

    duh

I understand with taking pics like this for your boyfriend but it would really suck if something like this were to happen to me. I hope she really learns now but I guess we all do stupid things when in love, the bad thing is that little girls look up to her and hopefully they don't take this as something to copy from her.

It's done to get more exposure, which gets more roles, which gets more fame, which gets more money...play innocent because that's the "right" thing to do. Blah, blah blah....

Easy solution. Don't do this picture thing in the first place and you won't have to worry about it getting on the net. Plain and simple!!!!

If you don't engage in the act, you have no need to worry about anything going wrong. Plain and simple way to avoid problems, in my opinion. I would say celeb girls esp. and any other girls who do this sort of thing are only doing it for attention. The celeb girls know it will get them in the headlines, and I would agree with the poster who said Hudgens wants to shed her good-girl image now that she's "outgrown" Disney. So sad that this young woman is supposed to be a role model for pre-teen and teenaged girls.
