Was I wrong

Was i wrong to tell my friend the guys she likes was texting me and trying to hook up with me? The situation is that he has been with the mother of his kids for 12yrs but not married (to me thats marriage) and has 2 kids. He has been trying to hook up with me since i meet him. well my friend and him  got into an argument on wednesday and he called her a c--- to her face. He totally disrespected her. So was i wrong to tell her that he has been trying to hook up with me? I showed her the text that he keeps sending me(she gave  him my number not me) and she got hurt. I feel really bad but she keeps letting him hurt her.Should I have not said anything and let it be? If you were in this situation would you want to know? Would you tell your freind?

It's a man place to ask,a womans place to refuse. The first time should have been the last time, men are hunters baby, they love to play with the prey. It's also divide and conquer.I was told by a in my life concerning my "gf"s I quote"U don't have any friends".And u know what girl he was RIGHT!!!
