I have question. I have talked about my boss being my friend in my other blogs i also mentioned about how she was starting to act jealous, Well the time has come to where she dose not talk to me anymore. She is no longer my boss either she was fired on the 25 of july I was offered the job so i took it i am a single mother of 3 so the income would be great but I also took alot of responsiblites wiht the new job. Well my point is was i wrong to take the job? I beleive I was not wrong because if I didnt say yes someone else would have. So why is she madd at me its not my fault the fired her I had nothing to do with her not doing her job, is it just cause she needs someone to blame i dont get it. I do miss talking to her but maybe she was never really a freind? So what do you guys think?

She wasn't a friend, she was colleague. It's never a good idea to try to mix your work and private life.

    Congratulations on your promotion!

    Have a great day :)

You were not wrong at all. It's not your fault that she was fired nor was it a betrayal that management felt you were best suited for the job. She is just blaming you right now because she needs something to blame. Let her know that you are not ever going to apologize for something that is clearly not your fault and that you are still willing to be friends, but don't be suprised if she doesn't call back. She seems rather petty.
