As Rachael Ray's style guru and author of the new book "Style and the Successful Girl," Gretta Monahan has great tips for anyone who wants quick and easy style. The expert stopped by "Daily Shot" to share five of her favorite hairstyles that take five minutes or less.
First on the list is the half-up, half-down look. Simply pull the front of the hair back behind the head and fasten with hairpins or a clip. "That's one of those styles you'll see on the red carpet, you'll see it during the day," Gretta says. "It's good for work, it's good for anything."
Her second favorite is the messy bun. "The cool thing about that is that you can have day-old hair," Gretta says. Don't brush your hair — simply gather it into a bun on the top of your hair. "You can have medium-length or long and do the messy bun — no problem," she says.
No time to dry your hair in the morning? Try the slick pony. "This one I like because it accommodates the wet head. Using a little bit of gel or water, tightly brush back the hair into a ponytail. "You can do low with a side part, or all the way up, Kim Kardashian-style," she says.
